Disasters of the 20th Century

Do you know of a disaster victim you would like to have remembered on our pages? Please submit them below. You can also submit your personal stories and remembrances of victims already on our lists, and we will add your recollection for a personal memorial.

Also, feel free to submit victims names of disasters not in the collection. These are the simple guidelines:

1] Disasters from 1900-1999 only please.
2] Large-scale disasters should be at least 20 years old. Out of respect for victims and their families, we will not be posting names from media-saturated events / disasters of recent. Exception to this would be smaller disasters for which there is not an established memorial for victims.

We are looking for all types of disasters, large or small, natural or manmade, even if they are unusual: Examples:

San Francisco Earthquake 1906
Boston Molasses Flood 1919
Worldwide Influenza Epidemic 1918
